They have cemented Trump's image as a true dissident and a man of the people

Last Thursday was the day the Democrats turned an icon into a legend as former President Donald Trump's menacing mugshot elevated his persona to new heights just days before the start of the 2024 campaign.

The Left had been looking forward to the big day, salivating, waiting for the Trump mugshot to drop, and when it did, they were stunned. The Atlantic's Megan Garber agonizes:

"Donald Trump's booking photo was supposed to be an exercise in humility. He turned it into a threat. Even as Trump was held to account, he was elevated.

The mugshot was meant to be an exercises in enforced humility, but somehow Trump's iconic mugshot turned into a display of ongoing power.

He treats his mugshot as our menace. That face, with all its dangers, will only become more difficult to avoid."

Nobody is quite sure why the Democrats needed a mugshot of the most photographed person on earth in the first place. It was completely unnecessary and vindictive, of course, but it has backfired dramatically -- the image was instantly iconic.

Note Trump's expression. He glares. He stares down the camera defiantly -- brow furrowed, eyebrows impressively arched, jaw set firmly in a scowl. This is not what the Democrats wanted to see. They wanted to see a broken man. Instead, they see a man who they have just elevated to legendary status. The simple fact is, Trump’s mugshot has become the most famous mugshot in the history of the world -- overnight!

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and those supporting her fraudulent case were expecting the mugshot to be a trophy worth framing and mounting on the wall, but the opposite has occurred. Trump took their mugshot and turned it into history -- and a moneymaker.

Trump has turned just one more witch hunt to his advantage. Did the Democrats not see this coming as they plotted their ultimate takedown of the former president?

Slip-ups happen when you become overconfident. Now, Trump voters will paper this nation with his mugshot using merchandise already for sale on Trump’s online store.

They won’t just buy for themselves. Oh, no. They will purchase T-shirts, mugs and bumper stickers for friends, family and anyone who is incensed and exhausted by the obvious mistreatment of Trump.

The tables have been turned on the Democrats again. They literally handed Trump and his campaign a line of merchandise to go with the already iconic MAGA gear. It’s hilarious.

At the same time, it is quite sad that our great nation has fallen into such devious hands as those of the Democratic Gay Socialists and Fani Willis.

Fani Willis' case is based upon a lie

Fani Willis' investigation into Donald Trump began after Georgia's Secretary of State and anti-Trump Republican, Brad Raffensperger's aide, Jordan Fuchs, lied to The Washington Post about what was said during a telephone call between Trump and the Georgia Secretary of State's office -- she then deleted the recording of the call (a copy of the original audio was later discovered in her trash folder). Willis' investigation was ALL based on this lie by Fuchs and Raffensperger. Here's how the Associated Press described the call on January 3, 2021

President Donald Trump pressured Georgia’s Republican secretary of state to “find” enough votes to overturn Joe Biden’s win in the state’s presidential election, repeatedly citing disproven claims of fraud and raising the prospect of “criminal offense” if officials did not change the vote count, according to a recording of the conversation.

The phone call with Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger on Saturday was the latest step in an unprecedented effort by a sitting president to pressure a state official to reverse the outcome of a free and fair election that he lost. The president, who has refused to accept his loss to Democratic president-elect Biden, repeatedly argued that Raffensperger could change the certified results.

“All I want to do is this. I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have,” Trump said. “Because we won the state.”

Later, the Washington Post admitted in a correction that it had “misquoted” former President Donald Trump telling Georgia’s top elections investigator “to find the fraud” not "find the votes."

The correction ran atop an online version of the updated original story that had quoted an anonymous source about a phone call Trump made to Georgia’s top elections investigation official shortly before Christmas.

“Correction: Two months after publication of this story, the Georgia secretary of state released an audio recording of President Donald Trump’s December phone call with the state’s top elections investigator. The recording revealed that The Post misquoted Trump’s comments on the call, based on information provided by a source,”

“Trump did not tell the investigator to ‘find the fraud’ or say she would be ‘a national hero’ if she did so. Instead, Trump urged the investigator to scrutinize ballots in Fulton County, Ga., asserting she would find ‘dishonesty’ there. He also told her that she had ‘the most important job in the country right now.'”

Fani Willis knows this, but pressed ahead, nonetheless. Willis also knows that 364,000 ineligible voters were on the rolls in November 2020 in Georgia and just based on residency alone, 67,000 of them voted.

Is Willis punishing this Marine because he's black?

Is this what happens when a black man strays from the plantation? Harrison Floyd, the Director of Black Voices for Trump was denied a public defender AND denied the ability to post bail.

Floyd remains in custody in Fulton County without bond in connection with the Georgia election fraud case allegedly because the judge in charge of his case is on vacation. He was among the nineteen individuals indicted recently and subsequently surrendered himself. Harrison, a disabled veteran of the United States Marine Corps sustains himself through his pension and just got royally screwed by Sistah Willis.

A judge told him that she was denying bail because she was just there to inform him of his rights. She then recites his Miranda rights, punctuating each with a bright, "OK?" (video). Floyd is still in jail and several GoFundMe-type sites have sprung up in his name.

This is strange. Floyd just came into the jail expecting to have his picture taken, fingerprinting and out of there, but???

Trump is a brother now!

The mugshot is turning out to be one of the biggest, boneheadedest mistakes the Democrats have ever made. Black support for Trump is skyrocketing. Black supporters showed up in droves outside the Fulton County jail ahead of Trump’s surrender, booking and the now-infamous mugshot.

Now viral video (left column) of Trump’s motorcade rolling through urban Atlanta showed cheering black residents lining the streets and offering their support, yelling, “Free Trump!”

One resident said that Trump did what anyone else would have done after coming up short in an election. “Here in Georgia, he just called and said ‘Would y’all recount the vote?’ If I lost an election, I’d do the same thing,” he argued.

Ray Worth, a resident who lives in Carroll County, stated that he came out Thursday to “support freedom, the ability for us to speak freely.” He called Trump “an advocate for free speech.” He doesn’t expect any evidence to surface that will convince him that Trump broke the law. He claims that Trump was simply questioning the election results.

Polls are changing hourly and are support for Trump is expected to continue to grow.

Who ever said Democrats were smart?

On Sunday, January 2, 2022,"The Dumbest People In America," was the very first essay published on this site. It began with the question, "Who ever said liberals were smart -- besides other liberals?"

There is one thing that every self-respecting liberal-progressive in the country believes without question, and that is, they are much more intelligent than those knuckle-dragging conservatives. Liberals just KNOW they are smarter and have been gifted with above-average intellectual abilities. To them, all of them, it's just the way it is.

However, what they do, not what they believe or say, tells a different story. If you look at what they actually do, practically or politically -- it's really stupid stuff!

There are dozens of stories in the last year that demonstrate that the Left, and the Democrats in particular, have little understanding of the Law of Unintended Consequences and have a well-documented history of falling in love with their own ideas -- followed by disaster.

This is just the beginning. It's bound to get crazier.
