The Left is all about control and control begins by controlling speech

Whether they are referred to as liberals, progressives, or leftists, they all have one thing in common, they want total control of society -- its politics, its governance, its communications, and the behavior of its people -- controlling speech is the key to that power.

Freedom of speech is the foundation of all other rights

If you can limit the words people use, you can limit the thoughts they think. Since despots can never limit speech completely free speech is the bedrock of freedom, without it the Dark Side would control everything.

James Madison (1751–1836) is considered the father of free speech in the United States because he was the primary author of the First Amendment, but when James and the other Founders wrote the Bill of Rights, they saw "free speech" and a "free an independent press" and the other rights as pieces of the same pie -- as a counter to the excesses of a totalitarian government. They never envisioned a majority of what is euphemistically referred to as "The Press" becoming a component part of a political party against all others, but that's where we are as 2024 comes to a close.

What we are witnessing is the complete corruption of America's press. Whether its called the "legacy," "corporate," or "mainstream," the news and cultural media has, for the most part, become an auxiliary to the Democratic [Socialist] Party and supports the party's needs.

The media chose to amplify the Trump-Russia collusion hoax in in the fall of 2016. Russiagate was 100% disinformation, but it ran for four years and the media promoted that story all day and all night. On the other hand the same media buried the Hunter Biden laptop scandal in October 2020 -- and practically overnight.

The media suppressed speech during the Hunter Biden laptop story

The "Hunter's laptop" story is an example of the government and the media suppressing speech for political purposes. The "laptop" story was always 100% true. The "Russian disinformation" wasn't Russian disinformation at all. It belonged to the dumb sonofabitch that kept a perfect record of hundreds of his crimes, including influence peddling, tax evasion, sex-trafficking and child rape on his personal laptop. The media's response was 100% disinformation. The media lied to America and when the New York Post exposed the laptop story as true, the media said The Post was lying.

Oh! The FBI knew the laptop was real, but they were on board and kept quiet about it. The FBI learned the laptop was real the previous year, in November, 2019. So, the DoJ knew it was real as well. Just think of the size of this coverup. There were tens of thousands of people involved -- wittingly, or unwittingly -- from both the government and private sectors.

Now, some of them have admitted they "might have made some mistakes," but they weren't mistakes. The media's coverage was purposeful. 95% of the media engaged in a conspiracy to hide the truth, it was a lie, and it was election tampering. It got Joe Biden elected -- and it continues.

For more than a year, the government and the media just told us that Joe Biden was in good health -- physically and mentally -- when we could see for ourselves they were lying. It was The Emperor's New Clothes for real.

Did they stop lying? Hell no! They kept lying until one Sunday we all woke up to learn Joe Biden had stepped aside, there would be no Democratic Party primary, and Kamala Harris was now the Democratic Party's candidate for president.

Russiagate was the media using speech to lie -- disinformation

There never was and there never will be any person or organization that has created more honest-to-God disinformation than Hillary Clinton. She is the Queen of Disinformation.

These documents, which were posted on on Hillary's Twitter account in the runup to the 2016 election are not disinformation. The media told us so. Yet, these documents contain nothing but falsehoods. It was all a lie -- all of it.

Hillary spent four years spreading that lie and could not have been successful without the help of the national print and television news that promoted the hoax endlessly, every day, all day and all night. The New York Times and Washington post received Pulitzer Prizes as did their writers -- and it was all bullsh!t.

Fast-forward to 2024 and here is Hillary, back in the news. In this clip, Hillary warns against disinformation and presents her argument for "control."

"If they don't moderate, uh, and moderate the content, we lose total control."

That's not very ambiguous.

The partnership of the government and the media are willing to tell any lie and dispute any truth to advance or defend its agenda, but to do these thing, they must have "control." Truth does not matter. This is the game they play.

Russiagate and the "Hunter's Laptop" conspiracies were the big ones. There are countless medium-sized ones and little ones that are running all time times. The federal government has thousands of "information officers" announcing or reporting items about people and events deemed "newsworthy" by somebody, somewhere -- and every story has an agenda attached to it. The stories that make it to the top of the dung heap often have help.

There's an office somewhere close to the White House where David Brock, the founder of Media Matters is churning out his copy and straight into the email "In" baskets of a thousand media contacts, and Brock's stuff gets a Priority One because its recipients know it's coming from the White House.

Short of Word War III breaking out, if its on the 6 O'clock News or the Front Page, America's media is promoting some left-wing agenda or attacking any tidbit that might rock the Party's boat.

So, is it "news" or is it "disinformation?"

It's really hard to tell.

The number of hoaxes and conspiracies created by Democrats and promoted by the media in recent years is mind blowing. It’s insane that these people claim that they can tell us what “disinformation” is and have plans to control our free speech when they themselves are pushing easily debunked hoaxes on the American people. Politicians and "journalists" deliberately lie to the American People.

It's pure evil -- and speaking of pure evil, enter Barack Obama. Clever and devious, he knows that the narrative needs to be "managed," and he would like to have his hands on the controls. Watch and listen to Obama describe and prepare the ideological and political battle space of information on the Internet. In doing so, he employs facts, lies, half-truths and the Democratic Party's Rule #1:

"Always blame the other guy for doing what you're doing."

Obama warns against "lies and conspiracy theories" knowing full well that Democrats created Big Lie #1 and the media promoted it and the Democrats created Big Lie #2 and the media lied about it. Then we hear Obama say it loud and clear, in plain English, "speech must be regulated" and "content managed." The euphemism, "content management," doesn't sound nearly as bad as censorship.

The simple fact is, Democrats aren't against "disinformation." They are its principal producers. They just don't want you to be able to challenge their bullsh!t. They want to control the narrative and block any dissenting views -- and that's communism.

People that don't find Homeland Security creating a "Disinformation Governance Board," dedicated to "countering misinformation" scary, are not paying attention. The 1984-like Ministry of Truth's primary responsibility was to “police” what is deemed to be “misinformation” or “disinformation.” This stuff is right out of dystopian fiction.

And the Media spreads

There are four tiers in the "news" business. They are dominated by owners and on-air personalities who are more than sympathetic to the Democratic Party, its philosophy and its goals. Conservatives and Republicans are rarely seen on most of these outlets:

Mainstream -- ABC News, CBS News, NBC News, The New York Times, The Washington Post -- they manage "The Narrative." They decide "what's news"

Cable -- CNN and Fox News balance each other out

Government -- PBS, NPR -- always liberal even when Republicans control

Propaganda -- MSNBC -- the lunatic Left fringe

With the exception of cable, all of that communications firepower is connected to the Democratic Party, which brings us right back to David Brock pumping out the next batch of information or disinformation -- whichever is needed that day -- to his email list of "journalists."

The Left can’t exist in a world with truly free speech

Speech controls thought. Thought controls action. These attempts to change and control speech are employed more often than most people realize. Theorists believe they can control an entire nation through managed speech. The people who employ their theories believe it too. That's the whole point.

Look at how the media took one of America's most popular celebrities, Donald J. Trump, and within a year turned him into a pariah. Before Trump came down the golden escalator, he was greatly admired and accomplished -- a world-class builder, bon-vivant, big-time TV celebrity, and a much-sought-after-guest. Trump was all over the media. Everybody was his pal.

Now, Trump is Hitler.

The media did that, and if "journalism" was really what "journalists" say it is -- a search for the truth -- that never could have or would have happened. Then, the media helped Joe Biden's government in its lawfare attempts to bankrupt Trump, and put him into prison for life.

While this behemoth of an information or disinformation machine is pumping out our news each day, that's only half of the machine. "The News" is the offensive team. Democrats platoon. They play defense as well.

The Left requires censorship to survive

There is a simple truth. Leftists are unable to defend their Marxist and/or wacky ideas, and that makes free speech their enemy. There is nothing a leftist hates more than rational dialogue. They will tell you that it's part of the white-power system. Their multitude of ideologies depend on silencing any opposition for the simple reason that their ideas, some more than a hundred-years-old can’t stand up to even the most basic scrutiny.

The one commonality among the Democrats and the "journalists" speaking in these video clips is the need to control speech -- not their speech -- everybody else's speech. Here's Kamala:

Musk flipped the switch

The twitter acquisition was brilliant in retrospect. Yes, Musk overpaid initially, but he is now in control of the world's largest free speech platform, and while protecting free speech, he also ensured his companies ability to operate without government interference (at least for the next four years). His political power is enormous!

Having free speech on "X" has flipped control of the news back into the hands of The People and away from the government and corporate control of the news. The on-scene observer is now the source of "The News" and that is terrifying to the powerful. It’s why the mainstream media attacks "X" so much.

Democrats for so long have had almost total control of all media. Then they seized total control social media through government extortion -- literal, total control. Not only were memberships favoring the Left by two-to-one in numbers, they had the FBI and other government agencies occupying offices in all the social media home companies. Governors' offices had portals into most of the platforms to censor stuff that offended their sensibilities.

They were able to kick conservatives off, ban their speech, smash any dissent. They now hate "X" because "X" encourages free speech and minimizes the control. It’s actually a 50/50 platform now, and that's forcing the others to dial back the censorship and control, but remember this. The Democrats and their allied leftists are in shock right now. That won't last. There will be another great conspiracy -- another great hoax. It's as certain as the spinning of the earth, and just as certain, the media will be there to promote it and defend it.
