Joe Biden has problems, BIG problems
President Biden has two really big problems, the documents and Hunter's laptop. Either one can bury him. The two of them together will. There now exists evidence linking TOP SECRET (SCI) documents, believed to have been signed out by Joe Biden, to the laptop.
An email, found on Hunter Biden's laptop has been linked to Joe Biden's super-secret documents referencing the UK, Ukraine and China. The email was sent from Hunter Biden to his partner, Devon Archer, on April 13, 2014 -- one week before Joe Biden visited Ukraine to meet then-Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk.

Here's another, and where there's another, there are more.
According to The New York Post’s exclusive October 2021 report, a Hunter Biden email sent to an American aluminum company and promising information on Russian oligarchs is raising fresh concerns about the first son’s access to classified documents recently discovered in his father’s Wilmington, Del., home, raising new allegations of influence peddling.
"Documents dating back to 2011 on his notorious “laptop from hell” showed Hunter offered to sell intelligence on Russian oligarchs to the US aluminum firm Alcoa Inc. for $55,000, according to The Post’s exclusive October 2021 report."
Late last Wednesday,Hunter Biden’s lawyers finally admitted that the infamous laptop that the now-52-year-old abandoned at a Delaware computer repair shop in the throes of his crack cocaine addiction does indeed belong to him.
Now will come the denials, followed by diminishing the severity of the crimes as evidence mounts. Finally, when all else is lost, Team Biden will deflect -- they'll point at Trump and level some accusation at him, and that's what will be on the news.
The people around Biden know how bad this is, so, Mission One is to convince the Americans who still support the Big Guy, that it's all a misunderstanding, the DoJ and the lawyers have everything under control, and the real villain is still Donald Trump.
The defense's strategy will be based around three key issues and will evolve as the defense adapts to attacks, revelations, and conditions.
Contain the timeline
The Biden's "documents" scandal begins with the November 2nd "discovery." Whatever happened before that date doesn't matter and will be ignored. Biden's team will vigorously avoid any discussion of what occurred in the previous six years, the period when the actual crimes occurred.
Discredit the laptop
Biden's defenders will argue that the laptop has no chain of custody, so, any artifacts found on it are not reliable. They will say the laptop has passed through too many hands. They will deflect with absurd notions, such as the information in Hunter's emails can be found on Google and in the CIA Factbook. It can't. What is in Hunter's emails comes either from Langley or State, but it will be enough for the media to work with.
Focus on President Trump
A lawyer for President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, asked the Justice Department in a letter Wednesday to investigate close allies of former President Donald Trump and others who accessed and disseminated personal data from a laptop that a computer repair shop owner says was dropped off at his Delaware store in 2019.
Biden knew this was coming. The White House Counsel’s office added staff months ago, and beefed up its communication efforts. The office has been deeply researching and preparing for the coming attacks. They’ve worked to identify their own vulnerabilities and plan effective responses to the damaging contents of the laptop, and soon-to-be-subpoenaed banking records -- and the taxpayer is footing the bill for all of it..
Special Counsel to the President, Richard Sauber, is the government's lawyer and liaison to the Department of Justice. Sauber is tasked with disclosing all "official" statements about "new discoveries." He will author the administration’s responses to the public.
Bob Bauer, a Perkins Coie grad, is Joe Biden's personal attorney. He will be the architect of the defense. Bauer will speak for Joe Biden. He can say things that government lawyers can't. Bauer is the guy that kept Obama's academic and medical records hidden from Americans, so, this isn't his first rodeo.
Ian Sams, the White House Spokesman, is liaison to the media. Sams has become the public face of the Biden administration’s response, and has been making regular television appearances to defend Biden and holding off the mounting criticism over a lack of transparency with the public.
White House Counsel, Stuart Delery, will act as liaison to the congressional Republicans. So far, Delery has taken a back seat publicly to Sauber and Bauer, but he is expected to play an active role behind the scenes in responding to Republican inquiries and attacks.
Robert Hur is the "safe" Republican that Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed to serve as the Special Counsel reviewing Biden’s handling of classified materials. The appointment of Hur was designed to promote the appearance of independence, but if anybody thinks this guy is going to find President Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. guilty of anything, they have rocks in their head.
This is the defense. They will decide Biden's legal and media strategy, and whatever the legal team decides will be turned over to the White House Communications Office. They will package it for general consumption via the White House Press Secretary.
"Focus on the process... the lawyers got it... focus on the process... ignore what's really going on..."
Then cometh the media
The primary mission of the Democratic media is to remind everybody -- on a daily basis -- that President Joe Biden, former President Donald Trump and former Vice President Mike Pence are all facing scrutiny regarding their potential mishandling of classified documents -- but Trump is the only one that's evil.
Check this out, from the progressives at The Atlantic.
According to a recent NBC poll, about two-thirds of Americans are now as concerned about Biden’s handling of classified documents as they are about Trump’s, despite the gulf of difference between the president’s actions and those of the habitual scofflaw Trump.
Biden made an error about which he was apparently unaware and that he promptly sought to correct, acting properly in tandem with the authorities in every respect.
"Biden's team did exactly what you're supposed to do. When you find improperly stored classified documents, you immediately notify the government -- and you turn it over immediately."
Huh? Is that not beautiful? No big deal, baby! Everything's cool!
Here's how The Guardian explains it:
What matters to the justice department -- and what distinguishes an inadvertent error from a potential crime -- is what happens once classified-marked documents are found and whether officials take steps to ensure they have returned any such papers to the government.
On the other hand, Donald Trump’s retention of classified-marked documents at his Mar-a-Lago resort is distinguished in the eyes of the justice department from that of Joe Biden or Mike Pence as a result of one particularly crucial difference -- suspected obstruction of justice.
It's no big deal, they contend, but they ignore everything that happened from the moment those TOP SECRET (SCI) documents were signed for, six years ago, until -- for some unknown reason -- a White House lawyer went looking for them last fall.
Creating a false timeline is critically important to the defense.
Remember, we still don't know who signed for those TOP SECRET (SCI) documents. They could easily be stolen, but the identity of whoever signed out those documents has now been locked up in the same vault as the names of the men who conspired to assassinate Kennedy.
I do wonder who put the original documents in the closet. I wonder who made the call that trigged Sauber to go to the Biden Center and look in that closet. Whoever it was, let Biden and Garland think about it over the holidays -- and then they made a call to somebody at CBS News early in January. It's been one big scramble for Team Biden since that day.
My guess is, the Democratic Party hierarchy has finally had it with Joe Biden.
That doesn't mean they won't defend him with every dollar and resource they have. The Party just doesn't want the Biden stink to stick to it. The Democrats have a 2024 campaign to prepare for and they want this done and gone this year.
